Events

At Bateman Junior Cricket Club we have a number of fun programs and events throughout the season for both players and their families.

Cricket Blast Kick Off, Season Kick Off, Pizza & Movie Night, Big Bash on Big Screen, Southern Cricket Batfast Simulator, Sausage Sizzles, Season Windup, Awards Night to name a few. Karoonda Club Rooms are open during these events for the parents to relax and catch up with friends, fellow club members and families.

The Cricket season starts in mid-October and finishes in March each year. Registrations open in mid-June for the Cricket Blast and for the juniors on the 1st of July.

Bateman Season Launch / Come and Try Cricket – Sunday 6th October 2025 3:00pm – 6:00pm.

Every year, in the pre-season, we host a Come and Try / Season Kick Off event at Karoonda Clubrooms and Oval. It is a fun event for all returning cricketers and their families and anyone interested in Cricket and joining Bateman Junior Cricket Club (CLICK IMAGE TO SEE FULL PICTURE).

Coaches and Team Managers Evening

Before the season starts, we host a Coaches and Team Managers evening at Karoonda Clubrooms.

It is a great event for all coaches and managers to meet, receive their team pack and the latest information for the season ahead and ensure that any questions they may have are answered (CLICK IMAGE TO SEE FULL PICTURE).

Team Kick Offs

Each coach and manager to get the team and families together for a fish and chips/pizza evening just after preseason training to kick off the season.

It is a great evening where the coach and manager can inform the team and parents about the season ahead, expectations and answer any questions.

Pink Stumps Day

Every year we celebrate Pink Stumps Day which is a way for us to come together, turn our cricket game pink, have fun and fundraise for the McGrath Foundation – all while showing support for people in the community experiencing breast cancer. Together, we can make a difference!

End of Season Wind Up / Awards Presentation

Every year, at the end of the season, Bateman Junior Cricket Club organises an awards night to thank all our Players / Coaches / Managers / Scorers / Volunteers / Members and Families.

We celebrate our season, success stories, and we hope all our families return the following season with their friends and families!
