About Us

Bateman Junior Cricket Club is a family friendly club committed to promoting cricket for boys and girls of all abilities from ages 5 – 17.

We are a member of the Metropolitan Junior Community Cricket (MJCC) Home | Metropolitan Junior Community Cricket | Western Australia and play in the Southwest Metro Region.

Other clubs in our association are Bicton JCC, Kardinya JCC, Hilton Park JCC, Leeming Spartans JCC, Cockburn JCC, Jandakot Lakes JCC, Phoenix Beeliar JCC, East Fremantle JCC & Applecross JCC.

Our club is based at Karoonda Reserve, Booragoon with a second ground at Bill Ellson Reserve in Bateman.

Karoonda Oval has 2 newly laid hard wickets and 4 nets that are used for training during the week and Bill Ellson has 1 newly laid hard wicket and 2 nets.

We are a family friendly inclusive club offering fair, fun and safe cricketing programs for boys and girls of all abilities from ages 5-17.

Our membership base has experienced strong growth in recent years, and we expect this to continue in the years ahead as we offer great cricket experiences for all our junior players. We are proud of having around 120 junior members and 12 Life Members of the club.

We are incredibly proud that Bateman Junior Cricket Club has been recognised as a leader in Female Cricket and we have a large number of girls in the association (CLICK THE IMAGE TO SEE THE TEAM).

In addition to our high performing girls’ and boys’ teams we have facilitated Youth Integrated Cricket teams in the past for boys and girls with disabilities aged 11-17.

The club was recognised for our integrated program in season 2020-2021 receiving the WA Community Cricket Inclusion and Diversity Award and the Cricket Australia Community Cricket Inclusion and Diversity Award.
